You describe your idea, pick a personality mode, and our AI writes the C++ DSP code, designs the panel SVG, generates presets, and packages everything into a .vcvplugin file you can drag straight into VCV Rack.

Not at all. The entire design process happens through a conversational interview. You describe sounds, pick knobs and colors, and make creative decisions. WeirdMaker handles all the DSP engineering, code generation, and panel design behind the scenes. You get full source code if you ever want to learn from it or modify it later.

Yes. Every tier includes full commercial rights. The source code and compiled plugin are entirely yours. You can sell them on the VCV Library, distribute them freely, modify them, or use them in commercial music production. No royalties, no attribution required.

ANALOG channels warm circuits, component drift, Moog ladders and Curtis chips. DRIFT creates slow evolution, deep space, generative patience, and infinite sustain. The design interview takes about 5 minutes. After that, the AI build process runs in about 3 minutes — you can watch it happen live. The entire flow from idea to installable plugin is typically under 10 minutes. Refinement iterations (included in your budget) take 1-2 minutes each.

Every tier includes a refinement budget — real money you can spend on iterating. Tell WeirdMaker what to change (more resonance, different panel color, add an output jack) and it rebuilds. The design interview itself is always free, so you can see your complete module spec before committing any money.

WeirdMaker builds modules compatible with VCV Rack 2 (both Free and Pro). The generated plugins work identically in either version. If you want to submit to the official VCV Library, we include submission-ready packaging and documentation at every tier.
